Granville Island is home to an industrial operation of Ocean Cement. A recent "open house" by Ocean Cement provided a chance to create some images that would normally not be available. It was a great opportunity to get close to a lot of big shiny trucks for kids of ALL ages. The fact that the daily activities of this industrial operation seem to blend in so well amongst what is generally an artistic environment suggests a kind of relationship that should be appreciated. The artistic touches to the gates and trucks create a visual connection to the spirit of Granville Island.
