Granville Island is home to a greater variety of products and services than any other similarly sized location in Vancouver. This distinction is the result of the large number of artists that not only sell the manifestations of their creativity but many of them actually produce them on location in studios and workshops. There are restaurants, a hotel, many arts and crafts outlets, galleries for souvenir and unique gift items, a large number of outlets that service the pleasure boating industry, and many more.
